Hi, I’m Aidan living in Nelson, New Zealand. This blog is mainly about my adventures and learnings in home brewing as well as just a place for me to keep a record of my brews.
I started home brewing in late 2010. My first 2 brews were straight up kit brews and I was quite impressed at how they turned out. Then I started playing with hops and grains and became totally fascinated with making beer. I got great results from stove-top partial mash brewing but eventually got the equipment together to allow me to do all-grain brewing using the BIAB (brew in a bag) system.
