League Vortex

First brew since Marchfest! Slightly modified Vortex recipe in that I added some extra bittering hops (16g of Southern Cross @ 15mins) and moved the 12g Mosaic addition to join the 5 min addition. My reasoning for this is IBUs looked low on my brewing calculator and thought I would get more from the Mosaic as a later addition and I happened to have some Southern Cross in the freezer.

Tasting notes

This tastes really damn good at kegging. Nice and hoppy, yet clean and crisp. After kegging, still tastes good, this is a good recipe that came out well. Nice medium strength beer, light in colour and reasonably hoppy.
